November 26-December 1

Tuesday I was in the office from 11-5. We had a Public Safety night on the first of December so I was planning for that. I had to look up fire stations, police stations, EMT, Sheriff Departments, and so on to participate in that night. We were also giving out a photo shoot for the biggest public safety group with the FireAntz Dance team. I also had to do some filing to make room for new things. I was filing all the paychecks stubs and and thing that had to do with the account for the FireAntz.

Thursday i was in the office from1:30-5. I was picking up from where I left off on Tuesday. I had to make some phone calls to get some automobiles out for the even. Prior to the game starting we were going to have different automobiles on display for all the public safety departments out. I was going to be the one to coordinate the display area so I have to figure how I wanted everything and the way I want them to park.

Friday I was in the office from 1-4. I had to go over some last minute things for Saturday night. I had to work with the Alicia, Director of ticket sales, to make sure all the people who were bringing the vehicle that were going to be on display had tickets.

Saturday I was at the office from 11-3. We had to get some last things together for the game that night. I had to help get the media notes packet together. I also had to check everything for the vehicles to make sure they were still coming. I had to brainstorm on how they would be out on display in the parking lot.
From 3-11 I was at the Crown. I had to set up the FireAntz information table. I also had to check to see if all the public safety people had passes to get into the Crown. The vehicles stated to show up around 5:30 to be on display. I had two Fire Trucks, one Sheriff Cars, three Under Cover Cars, two EMS Vehicles, one Police Car, and one Civil Crime Car. The automobiles were on display from 6:00 until 7:30. During the Game we had Smokey the bear walking around the concourse. He was going around meeting kids and shaking hands. The game was delayed due to the fact the Huntsville had a bus problem so the game did not start until 8:00. During the game I had to go and visit some birthdays and different groups that bought group tickets. The game was great the FireAntz won. After the game was over we had a jersey auction for the specialty jersey that the team wore during the game. Each jersey for the guys was auction off starting at two hundred and fifty dollars. The most we got for one jersey was one thousand five hundred twenty five dollars. The jersey that was sold at that price was Rob Sich's. He was the MVP of the team last year.

November 24




Saturday I was at the office from 11-4. We had a game that night so I went in to help and make sure everything was done. I help Jason get his media packets together. I had to get all the Chad Collins Blood Drive fliers together to take to the Crown. I was answering phone call.
From 4-11 I was at the Crown. We had to get everything set up. The theme on the night was Blood Drive. Making sure our tables were right for our partners. I had to resticker chuck-a-pucks. I helped set up the FireAntz information table. During the game i work the FireAntz information table. I also went around with Alicia, Director of Ticket Sales, to meet our groups and birthdays. Follow the game we had a meeting and greet with the players sponsored by the Blood Drive. We had tables set up o the concourse for the players to seat at while fans came through to get autographs. We probably had hundred and fifty fans stay to meet the players.

November 11-16







Tuesday I was in the office from 12-500. We are plan Military Appreciation Night. This night is to welcome home me and women in the 82nd Airborne from Iraq. We except to have a sell out. In the office we are getting a lot of phone calls because there were two companies that bought 5000 tickets from us to give to soldiers, and people want to know how to get them. I have to tell people that the companies are giving them out as they wish and we have nothing to do with it. We are also giving on special coins to all the men and women who are coming about from the war. We had just got them in today.

Thursday I was in the office from 2:30-5. We are still planning for Military Appreciation Night which is the next night. We had a meeting to discuss what was all going to be going on that night. The first thing we had to do was send in a proposal to start the game 15 minutes late due the ceremony we were going to have honoring the soldiers. The next thing had to cover was soldier the men and women, who are getting the coins, could pick them put from. We had four location in which someone could pick them up the souvenir stand by the eat entrance, at the table by the hospitality rooms, one by the east entrance, and one up in the hospitality rooms for the groups who had parties there. Another thing we had to talk about was our intermission games. The people who play in the intermission games should be soldiers from war. Finally the last thing we discussed was the jersey auctions at the end of the night. The FireAntz were going to be wear specialty jersey honoring the 82nd Airborne. At the end of the game the guy’s jerseys would be auctioned off to the crowd. While this meeting took place we had to answer many phone call and deal with customers how wanted to by group tickets for that night.

On Friday I was at the office from 1-4. We were just getting our last things together before the game tonight. I was helping Jason put his media note packets together. I had to answer question on the phone for people who were calling in. We had only 500 tickets left to sell at 2 o'clock. We had to find people who had bought group tickets from us and were not going to use all of them due to that fact that we were running low on tickets. We had some last minute people calling in trying to get group tickets.From 4-11:30 I was at the Crown. We had a lot of setting up to finish there. We had to make sure all our tables were ready for our partners. We had to also make sure our areas that were giving out the coins were set up, ready and had the coins in the right area. I also had to help resticker the Chuck-a-puck because the stickers with the numbers were coming off. During the game I worked the FireAntz information table. We were selling chuck-a-pucks and birthday wishes, and answer questions on how people get the coins. During the first intermission through the second intermission I was sent to the opposite side of the Crown to sell chuck-a-pucks on the side. I took one of the FireAntz Heat dancers with me so she could help sell them. After the game, which the FireAntz lost, we sold the jersey in an auction. Due to the fact that they lost the jerseys did not go for as much as we wished. I believed the highs one went for $575
