Thursday I was in the office from 2:30 to 5:30. I was helping prepare for Friday nights game. I had to fax over paper to season ticket holders' information on Fan Appreciation night on Friday. I also help with contacting school to notify them about our grades for Blades Promotion we had coming up. The Grades for Blades program is a program that is encouraging elementary student to read more. We have a checklist so the students can take it to their teacher once they have finished a book and get them to sign off on it. Once they read a certain amount of books they get prize. The more books they read the more prize they will receive from the FireAntz.

Total Hours: 3 hours

Friday was a long day. I was in the office from 1:30 to 3:00 where I just answered the phone to help out. At 3:00 we all headed to the Crown and we were there until 11:30. At the Crown I had to set up the FireAntz table. I had to sticker the Chuck-A-Puck that was messed up. Friday night was season ticket holder appreciation night. For fan appreciation night we open the doors at 6:00 to only the season ticket holders. We had a room for them to have some finger food and little giveaway items. I was in charge of this room. I was there to greet and answer question the season ticket holders had. After we closed the doors to the room at 7:00 before the game started. Once I left that room I had to return to the FireAntz table. When I returned to the table I had to help sell Chuck-a-Pucks which are one for a dollar. We had a lot of questions to answer as well. During the second period I went around with Alicia, Group Sales, go around and meet our groups who were there last night. We also had to go meet a little girl whose birthday it was. The FireAntz lose that game to Columbus 5 to 2. After the game we had a meet and greet for the season ticket holders. I checked all ticket to make sure only season ticket holders were going up to meet the players. At the meet and greet the fans could get autographs and talk to the players. We had to stay around until all the fans and players had left.

Once when we left the office at 3:00 we headed to the Crown to set up everything for Blades for Grades night. I had to setup the kids’ area in the corner on the Crown. In this area we had an inflatable worm, face printers, magicians, and games for the kids. I had to inflate the worm set up the tables for the face printer and magicians. I also had to set up the game area as well. Once the gates open I had to take all the workers down to the area and show them what we had for them. We had problem from the beginning though someone our workers didn't show up so I had to night someone else to work the area. Also that night was the Crowns ten year so we were also celebrating that. The hockey players were wearing special Crown jersey and at the end of the night were to be given out. Each fan was given an entry form to fill out and from there that is how the winners were picked for the jerseys. The winners were picked during the game.
